Website Management & Support
I've worked with JourneyWoman for over 10 years, and this company/brand/community will always have a special place in my heart.
In 2013, I was introduced to Evelyn Hannon, a woman in her late 60s and a solo traveller since her divorce in 1985. Around the same time, she developed JourneyWoman as a way to share her travel experiences, but also advice for other women who wanted to travel at a time when people thought, "why would women want to travel alone?" and "it's not safe."
When I started, JW was still on FTP, and every page needed to be created new. In 2019, Evelyn passed from cancer and her daughters handed over the reigns to Carolyn Ray, a life-long corporate powerhouse in her own right, who was ready to "retire" and take flight. Little did she know that taking on a travel business at the beginning of COVID would develop into the global movement she helms today.
I've supported JourneyWoman in many capacities since 2013: assisting the brand in bringing the original site over to a WordPress CMS, article layout, the creation (and ultimate dissolution) of a membership platform and forum, newsletter management, list building, social media management, SEO, and more.
My current focus is supporting the Women's Travel Directory, a curated collection of women-owned/women-led travel companies offering services to women, in part or entirely.

Owner & Lead Design Strategiest
I created Fox Plus Wilson in 2013 as an opportunity to branch out and explore the world of web design and marketing on my own terms. It also meant that, when I started my family in 2014, it gave me the flexibility I needed to be present for my daughter.
Regardless of the need, I approach each new client and challenge with the goal of creating something that is accessible, sustainable, and usable. I create turn-key solutions—cross-platform marketing strategy, front-end web design, non-fiction writing, you name it—that provide business owners with simple, effective tools that will help them build their brands online and let them focus on doing the stuff that they love.

Fodor's Bermuda Travel Guide
2020, 2022, 2024
I’ve participated in the revision process of the past three editions of Fodor’s Bermuda Travel Guide. It’s a completely immersive exercise: exploring the exciting and new while extolling the virtues of the parts of the island that stand the test of time. The process involves fact-checking the existing information, but also highlighting and recommending new or outstanding businesses across the island, to entice visitors to experience Bermuda in its entirety.

The Royal Gazette
2005—2009 | Ongoing
Originally a member of the Advertising department at The Gazette, I worked closely with sales to develop broadsheet and tab advertorial supplements. Our editorial team was small, which meant I was able to engage in all aspects of the process, from conception to print (and in some cases, beyond—sales, proofreading, editing, etc.). In 2008, I was asked to cover the three-month maternity leave of the then Special Features editor.
I contribute editorial content to publications like Best Health, the Scholarships Directory, and RG Mags on an ongoing basis.
